Sgt. Vincent Del Arrazio: First shift second-in-command, and partner of Joely Bartlett.
Detective Crispus Allen: Parter of Renee Montoya. Former Metropolis homicide detective. A husband and father.
Detective Joely Bartlett: Partner of Vincent Del Arrazio.
Detective Tommy Burke: Partner of Dagmar Procjnow. Enjoys poker.
Detective Eric Cohen: Partner of Andi Kasinsky. Orthodox Jewish.
Detective Andi Kasinsky: Partner of Eric Cohen. Divorced mother of more than one child.
Detective Josephine "Josie Mac" MacDonald: First MCU officer selected after Jim Gordon's retirement. Possesses a secret low-level psychic ability that allows her to track objects.
Detective 2nd Grade Renee Montoya: Partner of Crispus Allen, and former long-time partner of Harvey Bullock.
Detective Dagmar "Dag" Procjnow: Partner of Tommy Burke. Her son, Sascha, is second chair viola in the Gotham Philharmonic.



Second Shift:

Lt. David Cornwell: Second shift commander. Transferred from O.C.B. after Probson's death.
Sgt. Jackson "Sarge" Davies: Second shift second-in-command, and 20-year veteran of the force. Partner of Crowe. Resents that Cornwell was promoted over him.
Detective Josh Azeveda: Partner of Trey Hartley. Enjoys arguing with Sarge.
Detective Romy Chandler: Currently romantically involved with Marcus Driver. A former FBI cadet and a black belt.
Detective Crowe: Partner of Sarge Davies. Regularly seen smoking a pipe.
Detective Marcus Driver: Former partner of Charlie Fields, who was killed by Mr. Freeze. Currently romantically involved with Romy Chandler. The last MCU officer to be selected by Jim Gordon.
Detective Trey Hartley: Partner of Josh Azeveda. Attended boarding school.
Detective Takahata: Newest addition to MCU. Formerly of Narcotics, and currently partnered with Romy Chandler. Smokes.
Stacy: Receptionist employed through temp agency. Only person permitted to operate the Bat-signal. Has a Batman fixation.

Commissioner Michael Akins: Took over commissionership after Jim Gordon's retirement. Previously a detective in Gateway City, where he developed a wariness of vigilantes.
District Attorney Danny Barkley: Gotham City's head prosecutor.
MacKenzie "Hardback" Bock: Gotham City chief of police. Long-time detective with the MCU.
Boren: GCPD crime scene photographer
Harvey Bullock: Former Lt. Commander of the GCPD. Quit the force after Jim Gordon was shot.
James Corrigan: Corrupt GCPD crime scene investigator. Has been known to steal evidence.
Manny Esperanza: Inspector with GCPD Internal Affairs.
Nora Fields: City coroner, and widow of Charlie Fields. Had her right hand shot off by the Joker in #12.
James W. "Jim" Gordon: Former Gotham City police commissioner, and 20-year veteran of the force. Currently teaches criminology at Gotham University.
Lt. Jerry Henelly: Head of the GCPD Quick Response Team (QRT).
Mayor David Hull: Former deputy mayor who succeeded to the office after Mayor Dickerson was assassinated by the Joker.
Detective Nate Patton: Former partner of Romy Chandler, for whom he carried a longstanding crush. Mortally wounded by the Joker in #15, and later died.
